According to the lawsuit, Paige was making a "drug education presentation" in April 2004 to a Florida youth group when his firearm (a Glock .40) accidentally discharged.

He's a moron. The firearm was discharged by him. If you lay that Glock down on the ground, it will never go off on it's own. I say for keeping his job, the video is his penance. Could he still work undercover if he hadn't discharged his firearm? The tape was rolling anyway so that's a moot point. He should be charged with "unlawful discharge of a firearm" and "child endangerment."

When this lawsuit is dismissed, he should have to pay all court costs incurred by the defense team. Can you imagine the billions of dollars that could be awarded to plaintiffs if they sued America's Funniest Home Videos?

even grazing the trigger won't set it off. At least on that model he has. You have to have your finger completely in the trigger guard, and have to pull with reasonable force. (unless the trigger mechanism has been altered)
