I'm curious if anybody here reads them, or used to. It doesn't matter what books, Vertigo, Dark Horse, Marvel, DC. I just picked up the first Volume of The Walking Dead and finished it in one sitting, now I need $30 to get the next 3 volumes.

Eh, comic books were cool when I was younger, there was this kick ass comic book store in the Trumbull, and Milford mall, but they closed a long time ago. I forgot the name, maybe Jamsan, or Integra can remember?

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

Not since I was 10. Unless you include 'The Far Side'.

Used to, missed out on all of the independent titles out now.

i miss the good ol comic books made of cheap newsprint with ink that was always kinda off and having to put them in their protective cardboard and plastic everytime...now everything is done to perfection on nice photo paper seems like

I got a buncha issues of the old (tony stark) iron man on a shelf at home...back when he wore the yellow/red suit....that was good stuff right there.

I used to collect 'em back when I was around 10 or 11. I have a 1978 Star Wars comic book laying around somewhere. I called a local comic book store about 6 or 7 years ago and the guy said it's probably worth less than a dollar. He might of been bullshitting me though. I also have an '86 Avengers one, too.

Shut your mouth and think it out.
