I need to mount my speakers to wall.

the fronts are 9lbs

4 rears are 3-4lbs

helpo. Only thing i can come up with is having 2 vertical bars that have holes for nails and then attach bracket to them...I think that's the "technical term."

and buying any pre-built solution is out of question as one mount will cost 20 bucks, such a ripoff!

"did i listen to pop music because i was miserable, or was i miserable because i listened to pop music?"

ward is fucking awesome.

A shelf? It sounded like thats what you were trying say at least. I used to use two L brackets and a piece of scrap MDF for the shelves for my rears. The cheapassed shelf system works great, and as stated, is cheap.

Go to any hardware store, by a large L bracket (These were the exact ones I used. I got them from my work for free. I don't know how much they are retail.)

Oh yeah, and my rears weigh something like 10-15lbs, so it should be able to handle yours.

There once was a man named Bertold
Who drank beer when the weather grew cold
As he reached for his cup...
"NEEEEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP!!!"
Oh, snap! You just got limerickrolled!

im guessing you really dont care how this will end up looking?

Just get some L brackets like posted above, put in some drywall anchors and screw the anchors onto the wall. Sure you can get them pretty cheap at home depot or lowes.

If you use dry wall anchors it shouldn't be a problem. They have spring loaded tips that will extend open once drilled through the wall and can hold quite a bit of weight.

Not less than 20 bucks, but I prefer speaker stands. Or you can just sit them on the floor. Not the best, but it's free!
