Yeah OK, I'll write about it.

So I saw this movie on Wednesday night with Cr@ckpipe, his girlfriend, and my girlfriend.

First thing is first, this movie is not as bad as everyone would describe it to be. It's not a flaming homosexual fest packed with sausage. I just had to clear this up before the immature responses kicked in. To be honest, I can understand why this movie has so many damn nominations. The acting, scenery, directing was all superb. Halfway through the movie, you forget that this has anything to do with 2 gay guys in denial. It just becomes a typical love story where 2 people can't be together.

Synopsis: Beginning in the early 60's, 2 'cowboys' are looking for work in a very run down, low populated town. They end up being paired to tend to some sheep on brokeback mountain (main location). Here they spend a couple of months basically camping, working and becoming better acquainted. They eventually let it all go (don't need to elaborate on that) and leave brokeback and their job to return to their families. As Heath Ledger's character gets married, Jake Gyllenhaal meets a country girl that he ends up marrying. The story focuses on what happens after this.

Anyways, it's a good movie. And if you're not a crazy homophobe like my cousin (Mince), you might actually enjoy this movie.

I hated it, it was waaay too damn boring.

its like 10 minutes of scenery to every 5 minutes of dialogue...sure its pretty, but man, I can go watch national geographic for scenery.

gay sex scene was a little uncomfortable, but its not a big deal, really. I just wish they had actually took the time to show their relationship grow early in the movie, rather then show a few scenes of them getitng drunk and then fucking, now they are in love. it felt really rushed, and their wasnt much characterization for the 1st hour.

all in all I thought it sucked and is overrated.

I downloaded it and watched it with my roommates. I liked it. The only buttsex scene was like 20 seconds long and it was too dark to see anything. All you could see was clothed humping and it sounded like they were not enjoying it.

the movie was just like any other romantic movie, it sucked, and the only reason it was nominated for anything was because it had homosexuals in it.

even if the movie involved two chicks that are in love, I wouldnt want to see it. The entire story just looks dumb. I could care less if its 2 gay cowboys, the story doesnt draw me in.

There was a lot more straight sex than gay sex.

It was a wonderful movie, even though it was a tad rushed as someone mentioned above. Each shot was immaculately composed.
