Has anyone ever been a beta tester? Did you like it? Would you do it again? I'm sure we all were "beta" testers for gmail. I'm working on some software that will be going into beta soon. I'll keep yall posted.

My brother did that one vampire game, about 2 years before it finaly came out.

I've played beta games...like the ones that anyone can get in....but I've never actually beta tested a exclusive game, although I have signed up for them.

I have. If you D/l any microsoft updates, you are an unsuspecting beta tester.....I swear all their shit is 'beta' and/or released before it's ready.

I beta tested Final Fantasy XI. They sent me the FF cds, a hard drive, and some other hard drive setup cd. I think they wanted it back, but I used my old AOL address when signing up. We changed providers few days after I got the stuff.

Hard drive is broken though. It was a really poorly made maxtor and some pins fell out.
