Since when did "sand monkey" become such a dergitory term?
i thought it was just used on southpark to be funny?
I used it once and was banned, and it was in the context of mentioning a zombie general patton, which i thought was kinda funny.

Was it a perm ban? That's pretty harsh without a warning. My guess is that someone working for Anand must be Middle Eastern.

I've heard Anandtech is a bit ban happy anyway. Nebor used to always say that this and that would get you banned over there, like it was a good thing.

But that's happened here too. Boltsky basically got banned because Roca didn't like him. At least that was my take on it anyway.

Lots of people hated him and he was warmed TONS of times. not to mention that he was already banned once BEFORE on the pc stats board.

Errr hardly. The last time he was banned (by Dan) was for talking shit to Dan. I love how people try and remember him as some awesome poster though.

What can I say, I liked him. And I wasn't alone. But yeah, I know a lot didn't and he had been warned. But when Roca banned him it was for personal reasons. He just kept engaging Roca and taunting him, calling him an emo and all that. I guess pissing off a mod IS against the rules...

As an example, Nidex does all kinds of stupid crap. It's very funny, I like the guy. And he is 90% of the time respectful toward other members. Which is okay in my book.
