Have a sony turntable that needs a stylus gonna hook it up to an old Sansui amp. We have alot of vinyl records so it's time to revisit our collection might buy more vinyl LPs if everything works out alright.

I have some rare punk/ska stuff.. Original pressing of Black Flag's Nervous Breakdown (pre-Henry Rollins, 1978 ), original pressing of Operation Ivy's Energy (1989), original (and only) pressing of Choking Victim's Crack Rock Steady Demo (1992). I may actually sell them at some point since I don't own a table.

I grew up with it, I need to get a record player and start collecting again. I think my sister still has our album collection, and I know my wife has some in storage.

Between my Dad and I we have about 700 LPs and a shoebox full of old punk singles, As for a table, get an old 70s pioneer direct drive one if you can, a more precise machine was never made.

I really want a nice vinyl collection... I have some semi-crappy record player/tape player/ cd player. It works for now I guess. Anyways, I have mostly Zeppelin, Hendrix, and some cream. Always looking for more though.

If you like music and nice equipment go here AudioKarma.org Discussion Forums. The people are friendly and know a lot about vintage and new music/audio equipment.

I like the 'warmth' records have, but as far as clarity and preciseness goes, I prefer digital. Anyone remember that motherboard a few years back that included a tube preamp on its integrated sound card?
