Anyone have a idea of what this is called?

When I try to clean up my room I feel overwhelmed and can't concentrate on tidying it up. I look at one thing go for it then go for another. Its fucking wierd. I'll eventually do it, but its hard sometimes.

Not in the way that I avoid cleaning, its just I look at one thing to fix up then go to another, to move somewhere, its hard to explain, I just feel overwhelmed

I'd need more details about your general state of mind to confirm.. but it could be many things

Anxiety side effects
Concentration / attention issues

My wife has to take meds for anxiety and very minor ADD and those are pretty much her exact symptoms.

i have the same thing. It's hard to clean some of the clutter on my desk cuz i cant deal with fixing one thing at a time since i wanna clean it all at once. I always just end up stacking everything in the same place, just a bit neater.

i get the same shit. ill like collect cans or soemthing then go to get cloths.. then im like "i should clean the desk first" but then it would be easier if i cleaned the cloths first..

haha i get the same shit.
and when i clean my room, i clean everything.. not just put clotsh away, or take the cans down, i just do it all at 1 time when it gets really bad. then i tell myself im gonna keep it clean, and that lasts about a week.

Sounds like adult ADD. Sometimes I think that's what the wife has. She'll go to clean up a big mess and end up with 10 smaller messes.

Well, I will look at one thing, try to go for it, then look at another and think about what can I do with that, then I look at another, then I feel like wtf??? why can't I do this right, then I actually try something, but it feels overwhelming to me.
