this is nucking futs. i hope i get in on that thousand. but it looks liek it's going to be a Wii where i would be so excited to get that ps3 for so cheap.

edit: isn't the Wii like $150? i can't believe so many people are voting for it...

dbl edit: and i wouldn't be surprised that the 1000 "random" people are people who have spent a lot on amazon.com already. I'm still gonna try registering for a new account. but i doubt it will do much. plus with how many people are gonna end up voting for it, the odds of winning are probably close to like 10,000:1

My Mom's boyfriend is looking for a Wii for his 2 kids for Christmas, I sent him the link, hopefully he'll beat out some of the scalpers and get a good price.

man, why are so many people down for the Wii? the PS3 will never be offered at this price until like, the PS5 comes out. I voted PS3, it's the best deal.

The Wii is definitely a more popular christmas gift console than the ps3 or the 360. Parents are definitely looking for the best value, and Im sure to the standard 'console as an xmas gift giving parent' the Wii at $79 looks pretty sweet.

And since you can only cash on the deal if you vote for the winning console, I voted for the wii, as well, even though I'd much rather have a PS3 at that price.
