This Indian place called the Sitar just opened by my hotel, and I've eaten there 10x or so since December. The service is slow and often wrong, the glasses are often dirty, and they struggle with the computer ordering system. Two days ago my to-stay order arrived at my table in a to-go bag. Tonight they accidentally charged me for nan (bread) that was included in my meal. And when I mentioned it the waitress disappeared for 10 minutes only to reappear with the manager's wife to say "My husband isn't here and I don't know how to work the computer...".

But the people are so nice, and the food is some of the best I've ever had. She promised to make it up to me with something "special" when I returned, but then told me she wouldn't be working again until Tuesday. WTF?

But I'll be back on Tuesday, because I love the place that much. And I can't wait to see what "special" surprise is in store for me.

I would ask where it is, but I'm never in Anaheim.

I do have a suggestion for you MSP, if you manage to stumble upon a restaurant named "Roda Viva, the Brazilian steak house" go in and eat! Roda Viva is probably my favorite sit down restaurant. Its all you can eat steak/pork/lamb/turtle/squid/other meat, and it isn't buffet style, no grubby kids. A dude in a weird suit comes table to table with meat on a skewer, man, its always good. The only thing is the price, its $20 a plate plus drinks, but whatever, its worth it.

There once was a man named Bertold
Who drank beer when the weather grew cold
As he reached for his cup...
"NEEEEVER GONNA GIVE YOU UP!!!"
Oh, snap! You just got limerickrolled!

<Googles Roda Viva>

$20 + drinks isn't a big deal, I spend 40 bucks everytime I eat at the Indian place.

As I was leaving the waitress thanked me again and said something about me being a "rich man". I guess I am. But I said "Nah, I'm not rich. But my company is!" Seeing as they are paying the tab...

Theres this place in Key Largo called Flamingo, they have the best food. Their even better than the place that everyone down there claims is the best.

I make myself laugh.

Except when you have a Mexican chef. He kept saying "..yummy, yummy, yummy..." the whole time he was cooking, like he knew something about our food that we didn't.

Two questions about that:

1). While he was flirting with your dad did he say "...yummy, yummy, yummy..."?

2) IDB?
