My neighbor and I were bored tonight, so we decided to go ice blocking. We pick up one of his friends, get some ice and towels and head to the park. Upon arriving there's a group of kids skating in the mini skate park and think nothing of it. After about 30 minutes of ice blocking we hear a very loud "boom" and see the kids jump into several cars and take off. We keep ice blocking, and after about 30 more minutes we decide to finish off the blocks on the ramps in the skate park area.

Upon entering the skate area we see a trashed computer monitor and glass everywhere. We've only been in there about 10 minutes when a cop pulls up. He informs us (the truth of the statements are unknown at the moment) that there is a $300 fine for being in the park after dark, that we could get in trouble for vandalism because the ice bent a blade of grass and - in his words - "If I wanted to I could take all of you to jail because you probably chucked this in there". He also insinuated that because I was 21 and I was with 16 year olds that I could in trouble for something or other.

After a small conversation with the cop he calms down. And once he ran my name through the radio he tells us to go, and not to do it again. The funny thing was, I noticed he had a passenger, and almost asked if he had a ride along. While walking past his car, towards my truck I realize that it's a woman, with big fucking blonde hair. I've come to the conclusion that he picked up a hooker, and didn't want to have to deal with a hooker, and some kids at the same time. Se he let us go, and got head from her.

Basically, I had a lot of fun. I'm glad I didn't just stay home and play CS.

Ice Blocking? That's nuts.

I have a huge hill a block away from my house. I'll wait till winter and just slide down it. Let the ice come to me as opposed to me making the ice.

Why even bother making them? They're like $2 for a 5lb block which is enough to block all night. And every super market out here sells 'um.

I didn't realize people did that for entertainment but it actually sounds really fun.

The ice making industry will promote the shit out of this....start making blocks with buttcheek saddles and holes/ropes in them.

Ice blocking has been around forever. I use to do it when I was younger.

We used to just wax up cardboard boxes and slide down really steep grassy hills....laugh so hard you almost mess yourself.

How'd you almost get in trouble? They can't prove anything if they didn't see it.
