And it looks like he's building a better one.

The Joe Rogan Blog &raquo Conduit to the Gaian Mind » I’m giving away my isolation tank.

He's also got a write-up on what it's about, how it works, and how it's taught him some important life lessons. I know this guy's kind of a hero to a few of us here at Tweak3D, so I thought I'd share.

no, lack of oxygen and ozone are badder for you.

Until now, never!before in Earth history, has mass extinction involved a choice.

Totally cool, I've wanted one of these since I was in my early 20s.

I did the ghetto version a few times - filling the tub with warm water and ebsom salts, turning out the lights, etc. No way to REALLY experience it that way, but it was relaxing and meditative.

Flotation is definitely something everyone should experience. I can't wait to go back again.
Check here for spas with flotation tanks

There's one about 90 miles from me. It'll be closer if I move (about 10-15 miles away). It's kind of expensive, but I'll definitely be checking it out if I move that way. I've wanted to do it for years. I don't think you could ever create the effect without a huge tub and lots of salt. In the video Joe mentions it takes 800 lbs.

It was only about $50 for an hour session where I went. I can't remember exactly because I had a massage as well.

Yeah, I was thinking about heading to LA to try one sometime.

And it is about $50 for an hour.
