well i used to bench alot back then, but i havn't been going to the gym as much.. now im getting moobs... would the fat around the pecs disapear if i start going to the gym again, eating right, and doing cardio? because i hear moobs stay =/

Fat dose not turn to muscle nor muscle to fat. They are completely different things. Your muscular system lies underneath the layer of fat on your body. Muscle hypertrophy occurs when you strength train and your muscles cannot meet the demands you are placing on them. Err I didn't mean it literally, but when you burn fat and strength train the mass doesn'tjust leave your body or dissipate, your body uses it to build the muscle. I was just putting it into a sentence as opposed to a paragraph.

What Jake said. Working your chest a lot by itself will give a solid frame underneath for the fat to sit on, making it look less boobish. But to get rid of the fat entirely you need to adjust your diet too.

ya those man boobs are heard to get rid of. I go to the gym every day and have changed my diet so it's slowly working. I've lost like 70 pounds since Feb but the man boobs and the gut are the hardest thing to get rid of. They are definitely getting smaller but slowly. Basically, I have muscle underneath the fat, which has changed the shape of them. They don't look so much like man boobs but more like pecs. Still chugging away at it though.

At least you noticed it and are thinking about doing something about it. Just do it! It wasn't until I hit 300 pounds that I started to do something about it.

ouch, for me the moobs and the stomach will probably take forever as it has in the past, but arms and legs and face were fairly fast

Im not fat by any means, but my manboobs have always been my plight as well. I just dont know how to fix them

just do pull ups. All variation of pull ups. Your lats and chest shoulders arm all will develop at very fast rate. Reduce fat food intake and increase fast burning food intake. Do pull ups till you cant feel your arms. Continue doing that every day any time you have free time in 24 hours.
Integrate workout in your daily life. Like when i am reading news or reading this forum i just lock my feet under the desk turn my chair side way (i took arm rest off) and do crunches. When i am talking on phone or thinking i just grab the bar and do pull ups. In 24 hours you can do over 500 crunches and 300 pull ups which is good for starters. Then take some time out and do real work out with weights.

I used to be 250ish at 6 feet tall and now I'm down to 190 and my moobs are almost pecs now. There's hope, my friend.
