Ads in forums

I just wanted to let you guys know that I added some ads to the forum. I am quitting my full time job to work on Tweak3D full time and need the income. These ads are integrated into most themes. Some are ad-free.

I can create additional ad-free themes or change the color/styling of ads on current themes. Just let me know how I can make the site better for you.

I also want to change the default theme. What should we use?

I like the default it's comforting...

Here's an idea, use some php to find out out what the most widely used theme is and have it make the current them that.

Cool, glad to hear you're focusing on Tweak. The ads look fine, not obnoxious like on many sites.

i use the black theme. I think thats the most relaxing with my eyes. I didnt notice the adds as well. lookin good dan.

I use the invisible theme that way I don't see them at all

Really? there shouldn't be any pop-ups on the google ad code. I have never seen one before anyway. It wasn't a PM was it?

I like the adds. I dont always need them but i click em. Makes work go by faster on these long calls.

i've got no problem with adds as long as they serve a puropse.

You're probably blocking Google Adsense ad units.
