My husband has a slim ps2. He bought the games grand theft auto vice city and san andreas last night. He went to play the san andreas one and now the console isn't reading any disc other than music cd's. It was working find before he put that game in but now none of the games or even movies are working. I called tech support but all the could tell me was to send them 45 dollars and they will fix the problem since I don't have a the receipt. What could be wrong with it and could I fix it myself? I have read the repair stuff on here but that all seems to be for the older ps2's. I have model number scph-75001? Can anyone help me?
