Since i got the Wii and my xbox has kinda just been gathering dust the last few months i decided it was about time to do something with it. I thought you had to get a modchip but found out about softmodding and lo-and behold it actually works it took a few tries and a bit of research but I managed to get UnleashX dashboard. I also got to find the actionreplay card for $10 at local CC (they had a sale or something - dunno what but thats what it rang up at).
So of course i needed a bigger hd so i looked around my room and found an old 80GB drive and did some more research and an hour later i had it in there This is so cool being able to transfer over stuff to the xbox, although still not as cool as the wii.

How To Upgrade HDD On Softmod Xbox -upgrading HDD

All that being said are there any great apps to look for? I dont like XBMC as its not really what i was looking to do (have a media center pc already). I have all the emulators and dvd2xbox sorta things. anything else worth getting?

I went the mod chip route, and never bothered to upgrade the hard drive. I just wanted to use it to run Xbox Media Center and pull files from my server. I downloaded some games via torrent but we never played it much.

Anybody know the status of modded Xbox 360s? HD content would be nice...
