so I bought a new 1.5 psp obviously for homebrew, but the d-pad buttons (up and down) don't work as well as the left and right. I have to apply more pressure for these 2 buttons to respond.


any of you guys have a similar problem?

the problem that i have with my dpad is that the buttons are a little below the surface of my faceplate. I tried opening the psp and placeing some layers of paper under there but when i put my psp back together the entire dpad just stals. baisically i dont know if this is a defect that sony had at the beginning or if its something that is still going on today. But im thinking of buying a new psp faceplate from the modchipstore.com that comes with new dpad buttons to see if the problem is sonys original dpad or if thats just the nature of psp dpads. cause trieing to play ps1 games with the joystick isnt the same as playing them with the dpad.
