Hello,

I have a old style ps2 that plays dvd games fine but wont play cd games. It makes a noise when trying to read the cd games. Its not agrinding noise like something is hitting/scrpaing, its more like something is moving.

I tried the fix in the first post but moving the gear didnt seem to do anything for me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance
