PS2 SPH-50001 clicking sound made by laser lense, can't play PS2 games/DVDs

| Junior Member | my SCPH-50001 PS2 dropped. I followed the guide to try to repair it, but it hasn't help me, and probably a large portion has to do with the fact that it's a different PS2 version. It can play CDs and PS1 games. But whenever a PS2 game or DVD is in there, the laser lens goes up and down making a clicking noise while the disc spins, and can't read it. I don't have a white knob as the guide shows. Perhaps one among you could be of help? |
