HELP I'm having problems with my PS2!!
It all started when I was playing GTAVC and all of the sudden it froze. the action stopped, but the soundtrack kept on going. I reseted and as I got out of the Safehouse, it froze but the sounds of Vice City kept on going! and a couple of days later I wanted to play Red Dead Revolver, Its not scratched because I never played it. The PS2 starts nice and all read the disc, "vloom" Playstion 2 logo pops out and then the screen goes black I erased the memory thinkin it was corrupted data and no. Same thing. I played the game a couple of nights ago, worked fine. last night, I tried all of my games and they all start nice and all, you play em for a couple of twenty minutes or less and boom they freeze(especially my MLB 2k5 from ESPN, which freezes in 3 minutes or less!!) The Browser doesn't say DRE and I don't know what to do!! I contacted Sony via e-mail and said to call them, and I know why, juust so I can send it to them!!! and I don't want to! please help me!!!!!!!

i have had the problem with GTAVC, GTA3, and GTASA: its because a scratch that is either on the top of the disc or the bottom and yes a scratch on the top will cause this. look really close at both sides. i have a question too: did sometimes when you play you seem to fall through the ground like it was water? if not keep playing and it will get that bad eventually. the other games: i don't know what it could be, sorry.
