| Junior Member | im not sure wether its the same as DRE but my ps2 can read discs but it takes over 10 minutes and when i try to play a game the ps2 logo comes up but after that ...nothing...only grand theft auto san andreas has gotten the farthest and when it gets to 100% it jus wont load..... any one can help me here? ps:just incase it matters this ps2 was made in 2001 |

| Junior Member | Sounds like the same problem I had (see post called a Big Thanks - or summat similar). I followed the guidelines on here and had it working properly in a coupla hours. Working fine now and no problems at all, greasing the spindles has made it quiet as well. |
