it's hard to explain, english's not my primary language but i'll try,
my ps2 a/v connector's damaged, when using my ps2 i get a bad picture that displays afew lines scrolling up my tv screen, then another few lines appear from bottom of the screen and scrolls up, then another few lines appear from bottom, and scrolls up, and so on, scrolling the lines, endlessly.
i tried my xbox, it displayed fine, all clear, no scrolling lines so my tv's fine.
figured it might be my ps2 cable so i tried my other ps2 cable, no good, same thing, lines scrolling, i tried to wringle the cable, etc, to see if it change, no good, nothing changed, lines still scroll endlessly. i figure it's my a/v connector that's bad but dont know how to fix it.
thus this thread's created.
how do u fix a bad a/v connector?
i have some soldering experience, i solder-installed a modchip to my xbox successfully.
if i must replace the bad a/v connector to a new one where can i order it? i've looked around the net, cant find it.

info that might help:
my ps2's ntsc/v7/not modded and my tv's ntsc.

just noticed,
when the dvd drive's used, with a disc in it, the scrolling lines become more visible, but when the dvd drive's not used, no disc in it, the scrolling lines're less visible.
probably the dvd drive electric disturbs the a/v connector?
will the ps2 still run if i take/unplug the dvd drive out? or will it fry/break?
just want to test.
