Can anyone help me? My PS2 is a refurbished unit from Sony, and it has not been working properly for some time now, but the waranty has run out. When I play my new game, Madden 07, which might of had only 2 tiny scratches when I got it, it will freeze and my PS2 will make a growling sound. A small bump to the top or front of the system usually takes care of it, but lately it has been freezing and then I have to turn it off and back on again. Also, I read other forums about adjusting a white cog, which my PS2 has nothing of the sort. There is only a small white 1/4 inch thing where other photos have a large white toothed wheel. This white thing also has a indent in it which looks to be for an allen wrench. It is a SCPH-39001. PLEASE HELP!!! Thanks!
