Alright i'm at another impass on what to do about the integra. here are the options


Zex Nitrous kit:


Its a full kit with remote bottle opener purge kit all the goodies.55-65-75 shot

Pro's:
I own it
Can be done soon
Will put me into the 14's with the press of a button

Con's
Not as much power as a turbo
Refill bottle


Greddy Turbo Kit with intercooler:

Pro's
Bolt on kit
200whp mid 13ish
Blow off valve sound (ricer i know)

Con's
3kish at one shot just for turbo/intercooler/tunning
Other parts to go along with it Tires/Brakes/Clutch/Flywheel/lsd more $$$
Will have to wait till after college (next december)

NOS is retarded for a daily driver. Plus you gotta refill it, which is dumb++

why do you say nitrous is retarded for a daily driver ? i think it would be the better of the 2 for daily driving because your only stressing ur car when u press the button/race.

A turbo doesn't stress the motor unless you mash it. It's the same thing. Under normal load, a good turbo won't add heat or stress your motor.

Nitrous to get you into the FOURTEENS? That is the epitome of RICE. That'd be like me putting nitrous in my bug.

ehh 14's in an integra ls is respectible it did start out at 16, i compare apples with apples i know 14's to a muscle car is worthless but for what i have its decently quick. also if i had a turbo i would be mashing it all the time.

the bottle will be empty unless i'm going to track or plan to race. with a turbo its always their if i get a little spirited which i tend to do, i'm def not gonna resist staying out of boost. :P

you cant get an integra ls into the 14's unless you have turbo nitrous or a costly N/A setup most LS's stop at bolt ons. The motor is to finely tuned from the factory theirs little room for improvment. and like i said i'm comparing apples to apples its great that Some N/A bugs are running 12's but i bet it cost them a hell of alot more than what i want to spend theirs N/A integras in the 12's too but i want to keep the focus on what i can do with my budget

tell ya what, why not use the nitrous now, asve up for a turbo, THEN sell the nitrous kit, and put it toward tuning.

also, the turbo kit can net you MORE than 200 hp with a little twist of a knob, as long as you are tuned well. remember w/ turbo there is always room tp improve. nitrous not so much.

yea i've thought about installin the nitrous now but i dont wanna drill holes/ splice wires if its not gonna be long term. also i underestimated with the 200whp i know with more boost theirs more power obviously.


I want Fast and reliable .. but i'm also impatient to get my goal of breakin the 14's in my car

How much will the nitrous kit cost, and what HP shot will get you into the 14s? I guess with it being FWD it takes a lot more power to go fast, cause it seems like 14s is pretty slow for the power you get from it.

A 75shot there is more power than that turbo kit btw. And that 200whp is not 200 extra horsepower bro, its 200hp to the wheels totall.

A turbo actually does not put much stress on an engine at all, like the other guy said, not at low boost.

Personally I think you should ditch the integra and get yourself a real car, a car that is RWD.
