SharkWerks Created: Porsche 997TT EVT600 TechArt T - Video

We had a customer bring in a stock 997 Turbo and wanted a bunch of stuff done, so I helped make it happen. I didn't install anything *sob* but ran lots of errands to make it possible.

Took pictures, arranged parts delivery, talked with the customer, ran parts to the paint shop and back, picked up parts to finish it up at the last minute, arranged delivery, and so-on. I shot some video the last day, and edited up a video for the owner of the car.

It was kind of last-minute in Windows Movie Maker... next time I'm using the Avid station and I'll have a lot more time. I swear to god .. I am so done with Windows Movie Maker!

wmm is good for layout but not good for much anything else.

Do you guys have a dyno at your shop to measure HP before and after modifications?

Also, how much in labor and parts did all the upgrades cost? How long did it take?

Yeah I shot it... would've been better if we had more time. I would've shot at better time, too. It was all around 5 PM, with the sun overhead creating crazy glare *cry*... I found some shade though.

Ali - No, we don't have a dyno here. This combo has been dynoed and tested/tuned quite a bit by Evo down in Arizona though. We are a distributor of their parts. With all this stuff, you basically get the maximum power out of the stock components. The cost... I'd rather not say an exact number, but I think about 1/2 of it was for the side skirts, front, and wing. That Tech Art body stuff is quite expensive, because it fits like stock and is very high quality.

still looks good. yeah panning shots near either dawn or dusk suck ass unless you prepare for it. Some guys use filters to make the glare look more "artistic" but yeah, good stuff. Keep going! .. in both aspects of cars and video.

just wanted to re-iterate.... dan had like 15 minutes to shoot it and then used windows movie maker. I think it turned out really good

Plus the car was fast too...
