Getting a new bike (real bike) soon. I've been good on the Suzuki. Never down. Ride time probably 250+ hours. I think its time to upgrade. Probably keep the Boulevard for my gf. Looking for something like this:

Gotta love the beach bars. This next bike will be atleast double the displacement as my current one. The 2009's have 6 speed trannys standard but I kind of prefer to have a baker anyway.

I'm not into ape-hangers.

I've got the 2007 HD Heritage Classic. The 96 cubic inches with twin cam backed by the six-speed tranny makes it real smooth on the open road. Not a big fan of the beach bars or the ape-hangers but I know a few folk who really like them. Good luck and let us see pix when ya get it...

As long as ya don't have to pick it up from the ground , ya should be fine. It'll be a different feel, especially if ya get the beach bars. The wider tires seemed to ride a little diferent, too. Overall you shouldn't have any problems, familiarize yourself if the switch locations are different and with the braking ability. Good Luck........ let us see the new ride ....

Here's what my current bike would look like with apes (and other mods).
