Pretty neat. Twin engine, dual transmission Tiburon making just over 600hp.

Meh, two engines and a 10.9. Rather have one and do 11.

How did they do the tranny tough.

I make myself laugh.

They were on street tires with the 10.9. It has 2 front-wheel drive systems. 1 in front and 1 in back.

Not saying I want one, but I thought it was still pretty cool.

Impressive they did the time with street tires, but the question still remains:

What they didn't tell you is that they only did one run because it broke down after the first one.

Old, but always neat. I really like the AWD donuts with it at the end.

that was from the SCC ultimate street car challange from a few years ago.

they car was actaully very reliable through all of the tests. and that 10.9 is very impressive considering they all only got 3 runs, and alot of the "known" cars that competed ran alot slower then they were capable off.

that said it I think it got last place, it was useless at everything but drag racing.

Yeah, I was just kidding about it breaking down. Hyundai isn't exactly know for reliability. In fact the year the Tiburon came out I was driving to Cleveland and saw a brand new one broke down on I-71 with the hood up.

Actually Hyundai was the fourth most reliable brand behind Infinite, Lexus and Honda in 2006.

They're MUCH better than they were 10 years ago to be sure. In fact I would probably buy one before I would a GM, depending on the type of vehicle (those Chevy full sized trucks are sweet). But back in the early days I can vividly remember Consumer Reports talking about how a piece of the car had fallen off the Hyundai during testing! Too funny.
