| P/T State Worker | So you sold it for 13.5k? That was pretty fast! You didn't even have it up there for 24 hours...!?!? |

| infinite resolution | Yah, the guy that bought it emailed me within an hour of posting the ad, and has agreed to buy it about 20 hours later. I'm starting to lean towards the Subaru Impreza wagon (non-WRX of course). Something like this, if not a little newer: ![]() |

| infinite resolution | Yah, if there was something else as good as the Subaru's and had AWD with better millage I'd be checking it out for sure. It ain't perfect, but it sure beats ~13 in the 4Runner. It has ~86,000 miles, so not a lot. I'm pretty happy with the price I have got, I was worrying that I'd be getting like $10,000 as a trade-in because I wouldn't be able to sell it. I sure was wrong about that, eh? |

| Jolly Roger | after you've owned a few other cars you'll understand why everyone is still so eager to pick up a decently priced 4 runner. |

| Vagabond | Nice work. I think you sold at the right time, as more and more people get scared of the fuel prices I imagine SUV prices will drop. Im sure a regular Impreza wagon will get better than mid to low 20s. My WRX has been averaging 24MPG (9.8 L/100km) for the last 2000 km. And I use the turbo regularly. EDIT: After looking around the net it looks like the impreza base and WRX get almost identical mileage. The STI is where the mileage gets worse. |

| infinite resolution | I have a coworker with a WRX and I seem to recall him saying his millage is not as good as your getting, but even with that out I don't want one because they are the first or second most stolen car around here, and I'm sure insurance is higher. Should be handing the 4Runner over on Friday, I'm off to test drive a Subaru Sims, your never going to forgive me for selling the 4Runner will you? |

| Tweak Minion | Aren't Subaru's high maintenance with expensive parts? That's the impression I get anyway. |

| infinite resolution | 2005 Subaru Impreza Reliability - MSN Autos That looks pretty good to me. I sold it today, and man the guy is a dick. Luckily I had my uncle who is a lawyer make up a contract for him to sign. Its a great car though and I know that. I'll probably miss it a little bit |

| Curmudgeon | Good choice, but I thought you weren't getting a Subaru cause "everybody" around there has one. |
