After walking out of class toady, I noticed a nice little puddle under my car, right in the front. Upon closer inspection it was what I had feared, coolant. I checked the levels then drove home. Upon closer inspection there is a crack on the very top, in the corner, the area it is at is entirely plastic.

Now, is there anyway to repair radiators? A friend said I should JB weld it just for kicks, though I doubt JB will hold that much pressure.

Also, I am incredibly averse and against those powders or heavy fluids that you use to magically "stop leaks" and clog your system.

jb weld will work. i know a guy who shortened an intercooler and jb-welded the end tank back on. it still holds on his daily driver running 20psi+ of boost

Check

www.absoluteradiator.com

and see if they have the right model for you. They specialize in performance rads/fans/coolers, but they also carry budget stock models that are usually just a bit better than stock. For instance, all metal.
I got mine for my car (a basic one) for like 130$ wich I thought was a pretty good price.

I knew JB weld was good, but this sounds impossible. It is just an intercooler, how are you sure it isn't leaking?

My problems is that it is a tiny crack, and I have a wierd feeling that the JB wont be able to work it's way into there. I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

Plastic sucks for repair when its on a radiator. The pressure is so high that even when you do seal the crack with jb weld, it ends up cracking more in due time.

jb weld is a temp fix, try to find an all metal radiator without the plastic on the sides(if thats where yours is leaking from, im assuming)
