My Whip. 88 Grand Prix. Its a btich on gas. Ignition switch doesnt work, shifter doesnt work. Therefore, I have a metal lever connectected to an actual switch that turns my car on or off, and I have to pull/push on my linkage to change into drive or any other gear.

It's not entirely what I expected (32.5-33.5 MPG with mostly City driving) except on my last tank (Mobil gas sucks!), but it's great anyway.

Wassup Dan! Anna told me about this thread, so, here goes

My 97 TrackReady M3
Gutted, Caged, Toyo RA1's, Hawk HT10 Race Pads, Diffsonoline 3.73 30/90 ramping lockup LSD, Ground Control Suspension (600/700, Single Adjustables), very soon to have cams. Car weighs around 2860 with a full tank of gas. With the cams she should put down around 265-270 rwhp, which is plenty for the track with a car of this weight.

Say goodbye to our beloved planet. Because there is
alot more money to be made in emitting greenhouse
gasses, than curtailing emissions.

Get out of the box, then recycle it.

HA! His DD is a 1.8T GTI. The M3 is his mistress. About once a month he sneaks off to the "track" with her so they can have some "alone time".

That dream will last about two days. Then suddenly you realize that you have no A/C or power anything! And you have climb into a race seat, buckle four belts, attach the steering wheel then realize that you can't reach your keys.

We are looking into getting a tow vehicle because driving this thing 4-5 hours to Thunderhill or even the 2 hours to Laguna Seca can get old, fast. Plus, there's too much to haul. Track wheels, jack, jack stands, tools, etc. If I don't go the track with him and haul stuff in my car, it's a really tight fit to get it all in his M3.

Oh I don't know.. I love riding in my buddies caged/gutted car. He has an ITR with obnoxiously loud exhaust yet the 5 hour ride to get it dyno'd wasn't bad. I couldn't outweigh how cool it was!
