I hate to talk about stuff until it's 100% done, but this girl has been sweating me about buying my car. Hopefully it'll be gone tomorrow.

The other week I heard a noise like the timing belt slapping the cover, so I turned it off and pulled the cover off. Sure enough, the joint on the timing belt tensioner's spring wore through. Took the car apart, which includes removing the front of the car. Then I found out I needed a whole list of crazy ass tools that I do not have, but could buy for the low low price of $500. Fuck that. Zip tied the spring down to hold tension, threw the car back together, cleaned it up and that's where it's at now.

I told her everything it needs since she's a friend, advised her not to buy it, but she still insists. I guess I can't really tell her no, even though I told her I'd feel bad selling it to her. She has a thing for Audi's I guess. If it falls through I'll throw it on Craigslist and feel sorry for the fool that buys it.

So what's next? So far I'm between a 4 door Integra and a GS300. Suggestions?

If you sell it to her make sure you have her sign an as-is agreement to remove liability from you. She may be a friend but you should still cover your ass.

Oh and 4 door Integra? Do you mean the TSX? Because if you mean the mid-90s 4 door Integras, those things are an extra level of hideous.

good call. I've got nothing against Audi's, I thought about getting one myself breifly, but an enthusiast car they are not.

what are you wanting in a car? I've never been a big supporter of WWD, but with that said I watched 3 street driven civic's bang off multiple 10 second passes on slicks 2 weekends ago, so its hard to mock them :P

I wish you were in Canada, sooooooooooo many badass JDM car options for us right now, its crazy. low mileage, minty early 90's imports all over the place, I'm like a kid in a candy store.

edit* I've always kinda liked the looks of the 4 door integra's :/ wingless 4 door GSR look pretty sharp to me.

I can arrange to come to Canada. I actually was going to go to Windsor last weekend.

What I'm looking for..

-Easy to fix
-Cheap parts, both replacement and performance
-Decent to good gas mileage
-4 doors

That's pretty much it, I'm not looking for 1 type of car in particular. And no not a TSX, a 3rd gen(94-01) Integra.
And yes, wingless 4dr Teg = sex.

Scooped me a '96 Integra. Gonna clean the fuck out of it, install a kill switch and some wheel bearings today and she'll be all good. Pics after I clean it.

integra good choice but for a 96 i would go with maxima all the way. throw a 3.5 in a 4th gen and you have a plane ad 2k for a stage 2 boost and you just got wings.
