Well, i sold my 240sx for 4000$, im trying to find another car (used) cause im still a kid, anyways looking for something a bit sporty i guess? good mpg, leather seats, coupe or sedan what do you guys think? the 240 was dying, and as soon as the boost kicked in, my fuel tank would be empty haha

How much do you want to spend and do you want to finance up to a certain amount?

you can pick up a used s2000 for dirt cheap now. it's a fun car. (hard to mod though, and won't win any drag races)

but really, we would need more info about what your wants and budget are

What a beautiful face
I have found in this place
That is circling all round the sun
What a beautiful dream
That could flash on the screen
In a blink of an eye and be gone ...

first car was the 240, came with a ka24de was 1400, swapped an sr20 in for 500$, so i guess i've made some profit anyways guys, im not looking at like an s2000, something cheap, my budget is around $5000.. im still a kid so i dont want insurance to kill me.. although rear wheel drive is alot more fun than front wheel drive.. i was thinking of something like an e30? new si's are too expensive for me

That's the car I was going to buy until I got the 350z (don't have it anymore )

I liked it, but it was way too small inside. The wheel was parctically hitting my chest! Anyways, I went for the Z and never regretted it. If you can pick up this car, do it...

MR2 is a good car... what year though? My friend had one and plowed money into it. By the time he was done, the thing looked like a Maserati; very nice

ohhhh highschool. I bet all those same ricer kids would think you were the shit if you showed up in an S2000 though right? What exactly is the difference other than the price tag and the fact that one is a Honda? (that and the fact that a miata still retains decent gas mileage well an s2000 dispite a tiny 2 or 2.2 liter gets similar gas mileage as a corvette!)

Anyone who thinks a Miata is gay has no place calling themselves a car enthusiast.

BINGO. i really hate and don't understand why people think Miata's are for gays and girls. makes no sense. I've heard it's one of the most fun cars to drive. If I could fit in one, I'd love to drive it lol.

The 240sx is really the best choice of 4cyl cars out of the ones you can afford. The 92 240sx was my first car and it was fun to drive, got good gas mileage and looked good. I'd probably still have it if i didnt wreck it. The HUD was awesome it was like a corvettes. Why not get another one? STAY AWAY from the misubishi eclispe i had a 93 and it was one of the biggest POS i ever drove (mini cooper takes top spot). You could just save up and get a real fast car like my 03 cobra ;0

QFT

A buddy of mine has a supercharged Miata that runs pretty damn good. It's a blast to go through twisty turvy roads. He's taken it out to Deals Gap a few times.

He can keep up with me up until about 80mph, but his car is geared too low to really compete beyond that.

okay, i've driven a couple miatas, ill admit their fun, but they just look gay to me, because its so small, thats all, but i have no problems with how the car performs.. anyways, i go to a white school, most kids here drive g35's and beamers as their first cars -__- anyways, about the 240, i don't know if i want another, it was alot of work, although it was fun i gotta admit.

Wait, what school do you go to in LA?

If you're trying to fit in with that crowd, go classic muscle especially if you're mechanically inclined and have a few friends or a dad or uncle who is.
