I'm looking at finally setting up some sorta sund system in my truck and having some trouble setting something up that'll work right.

I'm looking at a set of eclipse or CDT compoennts in front so 100W per channel there Then another 2 way eclipse or CDT coax in the rear at 100W
so I'm looking for a 4ohm stable 4x100W amp thats quality but thats a difficult task.

Heres what ive found (trying to stay under $300 for now):

will you be running Subs? if so ditch the rears. There is no such thing as a good sounding rear speaker :P

I really like CDT, neven been a fan of eclipse speakers, i've alway thought there was better for the money, they do still sound very nice though.

as for the amps, I’m instantly opposed to autobahn, I’ve never liked them, I think its completely ridiculous to purchase audio equipment who’s priority is looks before sound quality/performance.

I don’t know anything about DHD amp’s, it looks exactly like an Alpine though.
If you want a really nice amp for the money look at coustic or JBL

No subs....and if i had a sub i'd get a seperate mono amp, i figured that one out a while back

Well JBL has
http://www.cardomain.com/item/JBLGTO754II

but couldnt find any good coustic dealers? and their products page isnt working

Found a couple decent 2 channel ones that if i wired right would work though...just so im sure i got this right
if i got the CDT's that are 100RMS at 4 ohm each (x4) and i had a 2x200W @2ohm stable amp I would have to wire the two front CDT's in parallel and the 2 rears in parallel? I was hoping to do the 4 channel just so i didnt have to worry about the whole series/parallel thing and could control each speaker individually...
