My uncle just bought a '90 Stang. Its plenty clean, but this thing is rated at something like 625hp. Just idling down the street we were setting off car alarms. The thing was insanely fast and its only got about 100mi on the engine.

He's assuming mid 10's with it as is. But he's gona get some new injectors for it and fine tune it all before taking it to the track. It has a NOS set up he didnt seem too interested in (the bottle was already out of the car by the time I went to see it, about 2 hours after he got it home).

Anyways, he picked it up from a friend for 12k. When he ran the VIN it came back as an LX vin, which was kinda weird, but he figures that will atleast lower the insurance a bit too. I dont have any pics since I went over to see it right after work but ill try to get some at some point. Im no fan of the color (or the lame ass flame window tint), but atleast its all clean.

Anyways, he's a huge foxbody guy (this is his 3rd) so he's pretty excited. His wife didnt even go against him at all on this, which was cool. I'll get pics one day.

At 625 horse I'd say the injectors are working just fine and thus not to buy new ones.

I believe he said it has around 520's or something right now. And he wanted to get some 600's?

What's it got to make over 600 HP? A big motor, turbocharger, maybe both?

Also, why are you surprised it's an LX? Does it have the GT body kit and taillights?
