The other day I topped off my oil(car has a very slight leak). I get in the car for the first time since I had topped it off, drove the 20 miles to work, and noticed a nice white cloud follow me as I pulled off the freeway. Basically, I forgot to put the oil cap on, and I lost about a quart and a half and made my engine compartment into a dirty stinky mess. From what I can tell, there was no engine damage, the temps never even went up.

God damn it, I am seriously the smartest man ever.

I once put a quart of transmission fluid in the prelude thinking it was oil.


I didnt notice for like a month when i went to go fill it up again and fucking noticed that I had two bottles of ATF, one empty and the other full. Fuck Penzoil's similar bottles.

I think i win, and amazingly the car didnt suffer too bad.

ATF is actually pretty good for your engine. it has detergents and cleaners in it that clean deposits and gunk from the oil passages. so don't worry about it

All that ATF is, is basically thin ass oil.

The damn thing didn't even skip a beat. The temps didn't rise, neither did it make any noise, it just smoked like a mother fucker when the oil hit the header.

i did that, oil change filled itup with 10$ a quart synth. drove around for a few days, noticed a burning smell, fuck!!! 2 quarts low. popped in two more quarts, LEFT THE CAP OFF AGAIN! drove around for a few days, 2 and a half quarts low.

It never seized up. It over heated a few times when radiator hoses busted out, but other than that it was pretty good.

Well save for the last few months i had it.

Well, today it was acting up. It had no fucking balls at 2-3k RPM in fourth gear(which is like 70-75MPH) I had to almost keep it pinned to hold speed.

Does this sound bad to you people?
