...and came back with an 07 Honda FIT Sport. I'll get some pics when I find my camera.

I love this car. I traded in the S on it. It's Silver Storm Metallic, auto with manumatic.

there's tons of room, and I actually get gas mileage now. not only that, but my payments are low enough now that I can get my motorcycle. woot!

Corolla S: 32/41 mpghwy

Fit: 33/38 mpg hwy

looks like to me you get about the same gas mileage... was there something wrong with the Corolla?

I can't stand em. my fiance's sister has one.

aside from that, The toyo dealership wouldn't give me anything for my trade-in, and this car is alot less expensive.

also I've got kind of a loyalty to honda

Nothin' wrong with a Honda

Taking a step from and S2000 to almost anything is going to suck, let alone to a lifeless corolla :P

Yuck... J/K

Welcome to the compact hatch world. Congrats man!
I'm on the other side of the fence rocking a 3D Toyota Yaris, but the Fit was a reasonable option when looking around.

I bought my fit as "new" used, from my friend who is a salesman.

The dealership gave me 12K for my s2000, which is about 3 grand more than a toyo or nissan dealership gave me. The Fit itself was 15,400 for at AT sport with 9K miles. I also bought the HondaCare extended warranty which is coverage up to 102K miles. ( I drive alot, so I figure it's a pretty good idea). I think total after TT&L, warranty, and finance charges was $17K which is what people are paying for them brand new.

so I got a great deal, and a great car. btw, I think I may have found my bike. a friend is selling an 02 Honda 929RR I'm going to look at tomorrow

One of the reasons I didn't buy it (The Yaris In my eyes is better looking). However, it is still a nice lil' car!

I walk by one of them in the morning on my way to class. Someone parks theirs in the same spot every day. They look alot better in person. For a small car it looks plenty spacious inisde. I currently drive a Camry but I started out with an Acura so I'm okay with either company. But if I had a Honda, I'd most likely have the Element.

Shut your mouth and think it out.

What year was the s2000? I thought they had a higher resale value than that.

none yet. My s2k was an 01, but it had 99K miles. 12K is what they are going for market value or whatever. I had tried to sell it on my own, but it wasn't working out, so I got the best deal I could.
