so amazingly enough, I got my 2003 Mazda Protege back from my ex-wife last night. talk about an awkward meeting though. haven't seen/talked to her since the divorce, nor did I want to. luckily it only lasted about 5 seconds as she literally drove the car to the meeting spot, got out and walked away saying the keys were in the ignition lol.

anywho, i haven't had a chance to see what kind of condition the car is yet but i'm gonna take a look today. i know it will need a good cleaning as she is the dirtiest person in the world. probably has tons of body damage too as she is very good at hitting stationary objects.

but it will save me money in gas and insurance. now i just gotta find someone to buy my truck

god my ex is a mess. so i went to look over the car. since the last time i saw it 2 years ago it has:

dent in the hood
been hit on the other side of the front bumper
windshield has several large cracks
one of the rims was replaced with some pontiac rim or something (wonder what happened there...)
tons of scrapes and scratches

and with all that, it's in better condition than i thought it would be in lol. oh and she forgot her purse in the car too. anyone want me to buy anything for them . good lord and she is such white trash now. she looks like she has aged 20 years. she looks like her nasty mom lol. man and her boyfriend is even more white trash looking than her. anywho, kinda makes me feel better about myself and my life. i can't believe i was ever with that woman...

See, there is an upside!

Pics of the car?

Good lord, yes! Pics are absolutely required.

Oh, and change the fucking oil right away! How's it driving? My guess is she wanted to give it back because there's something really wrong with it.

nah she is strange that she has always been extremely anal in making sure things are operational. she could care less about the looks though. the tires are brand new with plenty of tread. the tag for the last oil change was done 2000 miles ago. the clutch is fine. the alignment is fine. it drove very well. she drives pretty well, she just hits stationary things like i said so the car is ugly.

she got rid of it because she hurt her ankle a couple months ago and hasn't been able to drive it and she was paying pretty big bucks to my mom to have the car. and since she was hurt, she was only getting paid like 60% of her wages as she couldn't do her job all the way. and since she literally eats out every single meal, she didn't have enough money for it.

it's got 98k miles in it though so as soon as I can somehow get the money, i'll have a tune up done to make sure everything is fine.

and as far as the pics go. i'll take them as soon as I can. it's real ugly though lol.

It's sure going to make filling up a lot less painful.

Karma dude! Repair and repaint the car just as you have yourself, It will look brand new and the odometer will remind you of lessons learned. Good luck!
