| Balls of Steel | This is the exhaust on my 1995 Chevy s10 ZR2 4X4, the system in it now looks nothing like what should be there according to the parts I looked up online. The cat should be a steight pipe not curved... and whats with the 2 hanger brackets welded together. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Dangerous | Do you have a body lift? Is that an after market muffler? Im sure whoever did that did it for a reason. Maybe the muffler is larger then stock and it needed more space so they needed the hanger to be low so instead of making a whole new hanger they just added onto the original one? |

| Balls of Steel | I know thats not the original muffler, the previous owner explained to me that the original muffler got crushed by a rock... I got under the truck some more and found the reason for the 2 brackets together, its because the muffler on it now sits lower due to the curve in the pipe coming out of the cat. I can see there is clearance for the original streight pipe cat to fit, and the original muffler must have mounted to the top hanger sitting up higher close to the truck bed. It looks as if the whole exhaust system was thrown together from junk in a shop :P |
