It's a clip from a solo2/autocross day at a local airstrip. The course was really tight because the end of it (the part in the clip) ends up on a really narrow part of the airstrip and I decided this was the fastest way 'round

I think you may have lost some time but unless you're a great heel-toe'er then maybe it was the best way to go.

It was definitely the best way around for me, I tried to brake and shift to first but there was just too much effort required in braking hard from the top of 2nd gear, downshifting to first, turning nearly full lock, gassing out and hitting second again vs just rotating the car through and spinning 2nd gear up until I hit power again.

A lot of the larger displacement cars with sticky tires or AWD found it faster to just pain through first gear. It was a PAINFUL corner though. That section was maybe 40ft wide and you're coming in full speed from that previous section.

At least we have a proper facility now. Sort of

How much horse is that car pullin?

My friend just rebuilt his Honda CRX hatchback. It's gonna be pulling 200HP and it has a turbo. He gutted it as well so it's gonna be a sleeper.

At the time I believe I was only on shitty used Tokicos and H&R Race springs plus the Kosei K1 wheels (my favorite wheels ever) with some used ES100s.

Ultimate ghetto.

It's stock now though
