so i was driving with my cousin, some damn moron in a harley keeps swirving behind me in my blinds, so i switch lanes, he goes in front of me and brakes to my face.. then laughs.. then i switch lanes again to avoid him, he keeps doing this for a while.. then i got mad and got tired of him doing it so i kinda tailgated him.. and flicked him off.. then he pulls out a baton and bashed the window out on my cousin's car, and he ran away, but we got his lisence plate #, and videos and pictures of him doing this, so can i do anything about this if i submit it to the cops?

So you escalated a situation with a reckless driver and he got all road rage on your ass? This with the other threads of yours about driving and almost getting jumped lead me to think the whole "rational thinking" and logic parts of your brain fail to fire most of the time.

Sure you can submit something to the cops and try to get charges pressed but if the dude was willing to break out your window either he's got a hell of a self-defense argument or he's not quite law abiding and would love the chance to fuck with you later on.

But really, regardless of what he was doing to you beforehand, tailgating is a dick thing to do and tailgating a motorcycle doubly so.

It's your word against his because you didn't report it right away. I would have just ran my car over the back of his bike/ferring, pushed him and then drove away laughing. The cops can't do shit unless it's reported right away or they see it happen.

Any chance you did something that could have cost him his life before all of this and you just didn't realize it? I ride and if someone does something stupid, strike one, no biggie, here's the finger. But, if you come back and escalate it, and you're at fault, your driver's side mirror will cease to exist.

if he was being a dick or whatever, you should have pulled off and let him be a dick someplace else.

what if it hadn't been a baton he pulled out? or what if he hit a slick spot and went down while you were tailgating him?

Yeah you provoked him and endangered him by tailgating him when he is riding a fucking motorcycle. I call bullshit anyway. But if what you say is true then I would of busted your window out to if you tried endangering my life.

I see you live in LA more than likely this guy was a HA or tied to the local 81 in some way so keep your mouth shut and take it up with your insurance company
