Even a shitty driver like Block can get his knob waxed with a big enough marketing budget. He's really good at making stuff like this look good but when it counts he can't deliver.

Anyone here on t3d or anywhere else, given enough time, money for tires and wadded up cars, can do exactly what he is doing in that video. Ken Block has no exceptional driving skills or talent behind the wheel. Stacked up to world class WRC drivers Block is mediocre at best. In his few entries at World Championship rally, after much publicity, he's managed to flip or stuff the car into the bushes 3 out of 4 starts on the first or second stage.

If you look at stage times in stages he has actually finished he sometimes manages to place in the middle of the pack somewhere of all the cars entered not just his class. Very modest results indeed for the unprecedented expenditure of funds - and publicity.

It's also worth noting that the gap in WRC cars to the best Group N cars might be 10-12 minutes maybe less. The gap to Block: 45 minutes to an hour. Group N cars are pretty much spec club level cars, normally aspirated, rwd only. Not even close to the 400bhp money-pit Block has financed for himself.

So yeah wow wee.

The important thing to note is that Alex couldn't do what was done in the video and that's all that matters

Alex you're right.. but he's American and we havn't been around rally as long as you Europeans. Baby steps
