Nissan 2008 Versa Sedan SL. Car is really nice and she likes it a lot. No key to start it which she didn't like at first now loves, CVT Transmission which is weird as fuck as you don't feel the car kicking into gear. I'll try and get some pictures up by the weekend.

Edit: I'll probably buy one in January but the Hatchback model

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

awesome, I hope some day I can do the same for my parents. They are helping me get out of debt since I was screwed over from my ex-wife. Some of them won't accept payments and have to be payed off or they will garnish my wages so my parents are paying them off and I'll pay them off later when I can catch up.

You have this remote with you and as soon as you get close you can either push the button on the door and get in, or use the remote to unlock them from afar. Once your in the car you just turn the ignition like you normally would but without a key.

cool, RFID chip in the remote I Would imagine, it probably works the same way an immobilizer does.

what if the battery on the remote dies though?

The dash will let you know when the battery is on its way out on the remote, in case that happens there is a small switch in the back of the remote that releases a key.

cant believe most of you guys have never heard of this non-keyed ignition system. almost all new BMW/LEXUS and other high end cars use them. im suprised it is in such a low end car as this one but good for Nissan for using it. whats cool about these systems is that some unlock the car once you get near it and lock it once you walk away from it.

I have determined the IS350 is my next car, but I have to sell my house in Ohio before I can get it. I love that car.

You should buy me my first car, jeez.. haha

I'll take a 300C.. or a 1990 Honda Civic, whichever

That's definitely a nice gesture and I'm sure your Mom is thrilled.

With the CVT do you hear it shifting? I wanted to drive one but I bought a car before I got to drive a Nissan.
