85 Mercedes

I'm thinking about buying a 1985 SL Class Benz, since i was born in 85. I don't know if i would do this for sure but i was thinking about ripping out the stock motor and putting in a hybrid motor. Sort of a mix of new and old technology. I think it's such a sweet ride.

putting a hybrid in there would be sooo hard and cost so much, it wouldnt be worth it.

btw, does mercedes even have a hybrid car yet?

If you have thousands of hours and thousands of dollars to try and convert that thing to a hybrid, all the power to you; but 1) have fun doing it yourself 2) have fun trying to find people that would want to do it for you

But it would be a hell of a cool project, and it would be a great source of information for others in the future!

If you want fuel efficency, go take your pick of hundreds of Mercedes diesel motors that get superior gas mileage to any hybrid.

If you want technology, go get the SLK V10

That is a VERY nice car though
