I've been playing it at my buddies house, his guitar when you press down it registers it as two ticks. RMA time

The Rock Band guitar is a pile of shit.
Thank God I got the 360 version and I can use my Guitar Hero 2 controllers instead of the Rock Band guitar.

Rock Bands Instruments have been getting a lot of bad reviews especially the drums

All I see is a black hole, and sooner or later they’re going to suck each one of us into it. But when they come for me, I'm going to take as many of them with me as I can.

I love the guitar personally, it's much smoother playing and more responive, theres no annoying clicks on the strum bar.

Troof. My drums appear flawless, as well. Fast beats seem to be registering fine.

I finally played it last night at a friend's new years party. This game is so much fun! I wish I could justify buying it right now but alas it's really expensive and I'd be playing it alone all the time.

I ordered this for my wife and it should be here friday. Hopefully I don't have any issues with th instruments because this was the most expensive game I've ever bought and I'll will probably rarely play it myself.

Oh man, rockband is so rad! I've been mostly messing with drums. But the guiar and vocals are pretty slick too, although the guitar took getting used to. No instrument problems to report here yet. But i hear EA's been good with RMAing them

Same here. I would love to buy it, but I think how often would be I be playing on my own and the purchase just doesn't seem worth it at this point. Plus, I have decided to finish the games I have before getting any new ones. I have a ton of great single players games I haven't finished yet.

I'm pushing Hard mode on drums = loads of fun. Harmonix is holding strong to their word and giving a weekly update of 3 songs every Monday. I've already downloaded Buddy Holly, My Sharona, Roxanne, And Justice for All and Fortunate Son. The end of this game's lifespan is nowhere in sight. I love it.

I just picked it up for Xbox 360.. this game is so fun. I have basically just messed with guitar on Medium.

Check this out:

Lots of pics showing a guy that fused the Rock Band bass pedal with a real one.

The one I ordered for my girl just came in yesterday and we played it last night.

I've never played these type of games before (I tried similar games for a few seconds and then got frustrated) and I must say that if you get into it its pretty fun.

I'm really digging the drums, although the volume needs to be loud in order to tune out the sound they make when you hit them.

I'm lazy and I bought them off the forum. It made a huge difference in sound. I felt like I was playing better since I could hear the song, and when I played with friends they had an easier time keeping tempo when I did random fills for star power.
