I got my freinds xbox that im doing some maintenance cleaning and prepping to upgrade his softmod and xbmc, etc..

Its got some old ass xbmc and softmod that i put on there a loooonngg time ago. Last time i used slayerx cd, i had some problems with restoring my xbox hdd to original state. I was wondering if theres any new restore software i can use besides slayers cd.

Also, any reputable softmod patches out there?
I think the last one i used was Ndure's releases.. I quit using those stupid SID releases because too many people were releasing similar ones and no telling what was in that shit.. Im just looking to restore the hdd to original and start from scratch again

Try the newest SlaYer's disk IMO. They've updated it a lot in 2.6 and I believe they have options for softmodded boxes. Another one to try is Auto-Installer Deluxe.
