If anything it's an awesome media player. I was just going though my collection last night and I didn't have a file it couldn't play.

I grabbed Virtua Fighter 5 and Resistance. Any exclusives you guys could recommend? If it's on both systems, there is a 99% chance I will buy for the Xbox because of Live.

My PSN id is the same as my Xbox Live gamertag if you guys want to add me.

On EDIT: Will this drive be okay to swap for the 40 gig?

Ratchet and Clank Tools of Destruction is a really fun platformer. You have kids too, so they might like the pixar-like animations.

Can the PS3 play mkv files? I haven't downloaded the latest firmware and tried.

Is Drake's pretty good? I thought about getting it, but wasn't sure. I did pick up Ratchet and Clank, and that is a great platformer, I am really having a good time with it.

Have you looked at putting Linux on it yet? I got a wireless keyboard/mouse for my PS3 (which I just got, too), and want to put Linux on it but haven't got around to downloading a live CD yet.

PSubuntu seems like the best choice though.

Drake's Fortune is pretty tight. I ran through normal difficulty in about 9 hours or so. Despite being somewhat short, it has nice replay value. There is an unlockable 'cheat' that mirrors all levels, pretty sweet.

I Upgraded mine to 250GB word of advice be gentle. I stripped my screws on the HDD cage and had to drill them out.

Avoid Heavenly Sword like the plague. It's maybe 10+ hours long with no multiplayer. It's a rental at best.

Uncharted is baller though.

This game is a disappointment if youre into tuning the cars. It for the most part doesn't exist in the game except for a preset type tuning advancement. Don't buy it. I didn't.. my friend gave it too me because it was so bad.

As for PS3 games... must haves are CoD4 and Orange Box unless you have them on PC already.
