agreed I don't think my 2gigs of ram and 8800 GT will play this one at 1920x1080

I just upgraded to 1920x1200 (24") and although no other game that's out right now has taken a hit from the upgrade (used to be 1440x900), Crysis does majorly so I'm guessing FC2 will run like crap.

Time for Crossfire.. lol

Am I the only one on the board who is so fucking frustrated with game developers? Sure, pushing the envelope for graphics is great and all, but if you're spending all of your funding on making the game look great, then stop making games. I want games with content. I want to be able to play 40+ hours on a single player game. I don't want a 16 hour game that looks gorgeous but has shitty AI, level design, storyline, music, voice acting, or anything else. Balance the fucker out.

You guys remember Serious Sam? Probably one of the best FPS games to come out since Doom. GREAT graphics, epic levels and insane tedious gameplay. Plus Co-Op mode... perfect.

They pushed the envelope as far as graphics and scenes go at the time, but they managed to make an insane fun game at the same time.

I agree with you Phant0m, not enough substance in any games. Crysis was BORING

Crysis felt very "lonely" but that was really it.. Other than that the game was pretty good IMO.

One complaint: since Counterstrike, in any version of the M16/M4, everyone ALWAYS feels compelled to include pulling the forward assist in the reloading animation.

That's not how you do it.

... and why call it the Far Cry 2 tech demo? Why not just call it Far Cry 2?

Far Cry 2 is a new engine and not related to Crysis. It's coming out on PS3/360, so unless it's a totally shitty port, it will run well on the PC.

Gonna pick up the PC version via steam when it launches. Hopefully runs a little better than Crysis/Crysis Warhead.
