So I was about to play my DS and I notice an air bubble smack dab in the middle of the screen (top). I don't think much of it since screen protectors cause those. Anywho, I turn the system on and there's a ripple effect stuck on the middle of the top screen. A slight movement or touch from the system causes the ripple to move a lot.

So I'm thinking, "Shit, the screen is busted". I try to take the protector off and the problem goes away, so I was a bit confused. I try reapplying the protector and it does it all over again, in the same spot. I wound up tossing the top protector and the problem hasn't happened since. Kind of weird though, almost as if the protector was pushing on the screen or something. Anyone else had similar issues like this?

top screen protectors are shit, just stick to the bottom screen protectors and you don't really need it since the DS flips closed and nothing will really scratch it

The air bubble was probably caused by an imperfection on the protector, which was also creating pressure on the screen, causing the "ripple" effect. No protector, no effect. I believe the Caterpillar is correct on this.
