• There are 4 Dell Vostro 1000 deals starting with their no frills $399 unit which still comes with a dedicated ATI Radeon 256mb video card on up to one that's $697 and comes with everything you might need to start school. However, there are 2 at the $499 mark that are very similarly equipped. I don't care that much for the high definition audio in a laptop so I actually would choose the middle $499 offer instead of the far right one. • The $299 Vostro 200 desktop comptuer deal doesn't come up with a whole lot yet still has a dual core processor and is ready for you to upgrade however which way you'd like. You can opt for a Vostro 200 with a 2GHz Dual Core and a 19 inch LCD for $444, or my personal pick, the OptiPlex 330 which comes with a 19 inch LCD as well but comes with a much better processor (and components) with dual layer DVD burner, 160GB hard drive and a whopping 3 year warranty.
