Alright so i opened up my ps2 (teh fat one) to clean it out and i made sure not to take the metallic ribbon connecting the main base to the eject/play buttons on the top cover off, but when my buddy decided he wanted to help well what does he do? He yanks the top cover disconnecting the ribbon from the main base!

Now, i have no clue where the ribbon goes..and help please please!

There should be a connector for it on the side in line with some similar ribbon connectors, but you have to remove the entire case from the unit, not just the top, which adds two screws which you must remove. I believe they also hold the controller ports on.
